Ode to Joy

Ode to Joy…

This just goes to repeating — so absolutely beautiful — musically and spiritually.

I am still reeling from yesterday’s post.  So I’m a jumble of mixed feelings today — hard to be positive in so much darkness.

If you’re feeling like me, just remember The Message: Do Unto Others As you Would Have Done to you — it’s in every major religion, as I’ve posted here >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

God Bless all of us that feed the Light and keep the Faith even in dark times such as this.

Socialist cop gives free boots

Reblogging for obvious reasons…

...to a homeless man in N.Y.

Apparently, the dept will need to do a more thorough background check on Officer DePrimo–he’s clearly promoting a socialist agenda by giving free boots to the homeless guy.  I mean, really, does he think this homeless guy is entitled to warm feet protected from the elements??  Doesn’t he know that there are beleaguered  rich guys who need to feed their horses and build more houses?

And how much did the taxpayers have to pay for Officer DePrimo’s time in purchasing the boots…is that going to be deducted from his pay?  Because the taxpayers want less government, you know, so they’ll want the time spent to be deducted from his pay…

/just a tad snarky

…and the million dollar question is…

…why is this guy homeless?

…and why can’t people feel compassion for him and others during other times besides Christmas?

Reblogging this for giving thanks — I have been reading a series of mystery books and it hit me the other day how much I have recovered in that area: when I was severely poisoned, I had extreme trouble of staying focused and memory recall. I loved to read my entire life, but gave up in frustration after attempting to read a page, forget what I just read, read it again, and repeatedly forget. Now I can get through a book in a couple of days. Amazing. The body is nothing short of a miracle in its ability to heal with something so toxic as mercury. I’m not saying I’m out of the woods, so to speak, because I still am not back to where I was before having the amalgams placed in 1994, but I am thankful for every little gain, which seemed impossible after discovery in 2007, with many relapses.

…I walk outside in 16 degrees of crisp winter air with a dusting of snow on the ground…I hear a single bird singing.  Singing!

…doggie loves being out in the crisp air and I smile at the little frisky dance she does when she, uh, does her business…just happy to be alive, I guess. :p

…a wonderful meal for Christmas…blessings to those who don’t have that…

… for the money to get the oil changed in the car and now it doesn’t sound quite as loud as before…

…the ability to chelate and get this horrible poison out of me…

…and the wonderful “coincidences” that happen in life:  I went to the used goods store to blow the stink off of me (get out of the house for awhile).  My favorite area is the book area, naturally.  I found one to buy, and started heading to the cashier.  She told…

Wild Turkeys

Whenever I see a wild turkey running around the way nature intended, a phrase pops into my head.  Those of us of a certain age will remember:

“It’s difficult to soar with the Eagles

when you work with a bunch of Turkeys…”

This was posted in workplaces, circa 1980s, when workplaces were not combat fields, but places where you viewed your coworkers not as competition, but as folks working towards the same goals.  Some you might have even made friends and gone out for drinks after work…

Those were the days…

On the Question of Allies

This has been my journey, too. I’ve come to realize that non-profit organizations like the american cancer society are not really about curing cancer, but a money-making machine set up to pay huge salaries with benefits for the administrators. The natural cures for cancer, such as laetrile, have been known for DECADES…but Big Pharma/Big Medicine have deliberately kept that information from being given to the public. Nixon, et al, quashed the research at Sloan-Kettering that showed the medicine from apricot pits was a cheap cancer cure. Note the word “cheap” and compare that with the poison of chemotherapy and radiation — two very harmful treatments that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. But I digress…
NGO’s, I am coming to believe now, have been set up by the Cabal in order to thwart the very thing they say they are supporting. I would say that some involved have good intentions and good hearts, but they are vulnerable to those with their own agendas who do not want those with good intentions to succeed. Some are feeding the Dark side on purpose, while others believe they are feeding the Light, but in reality are helping the Dark. Staying connected to God, and walking in Spirit is the key to knowing the difference.

Ally: to unite or form a connection or relation between… to form or enter into an alliance (two factions allying with each other).  Merriam-Webster Dictionary

There’s been some discussion over the last couple of years about the concept of allies and I thought I would throw my opinion into the mix…

#NoDAPL water protector won’t surrender to Sheriff

A man comes at you with an assault weapon…and you try to protect yourself holding a knife…he goes free while you’re arrested…makes a lot of sense, eh? NOT. There is something very, very wrong when a person is arrested for defending himself. 2nd Amendment guarantees us the right to self-defense. Even the Bible condones self-defense. As far as Trump, he will not only gladly hand Big Oil their illegal pipeline, he has stated in so many words that he sees public lands as unused resources and he intends on exploiting them. Remember my instincts are kicking in about them privatizing the national parks…such beauty and ecologically sound places are lost on them. Trump should stop calling himself a Presbyterian, because it is in their beliefs that we are stewards of the environment as God’s Creation. When I look at the Black Hills, I see beauty that only a Supreme Being could have created. No man could have created them, nor if they were torn down, could a man re-create them.

Brennon Nastacio is a wanted man.

North Dakota’s Morton County Sheriff’s Department issued a warrant for his arrest earlier this month for allegedly bringing a knife to a confrontation with an assault-rifle wielding security contractor near the Oceti Sakowin camp on Oct. 27—an intense day of clashes between authorities and demonstrators, known as water protectors, trying to slow construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Yet another oil spill…

…okay, I’ve been trying to open and post the reports on the 176,000 gallon oil spill in North Dakota, but for some reason, the computer keeps crashing.  Things that make you go hmmm…

Anyway, there is a massive oil spill that you’re probably not hearing about in the bought and paid for media, so please do a search to find the info.  This is exactly why oil pipelines and taking oil out of the earth should not be allowed.

As I asked before, why don’t we use jojoba oil?  what about vegetable oil that some folks are using for fuel now?  (I personally don’t know anyone with the know-how, but would like to find out.  I know, I know, they’re probably at Oceti Sakowin…)

Anyway, I thought about my blog yesterday and how folks are probably asking what we could do without  crude. There’s probably a bunch that I don’t know but I’m sure Big Oil does, and has probably been trying to silence those smart enough to figure it out for decades, if not a century.

And along those lines…

We have Mustangs that are in sanctuaries here.

So…why couldn’t we figure out some way to give the poor a horse so they would have transportation?

I would love to have a horse that is a sustainable mode of transportation.   Perhaps not in this weather — but definitely for Spring, Summer, and Fall. I’m just speaking off the top of my head…but the horse gives back and completes the circle of life.  Horse poo and pee are known to be beneficial to the earth.  Their “fuel” is nontoxic, as well. 🙂

So we could live in a sustainable way…just have to rearrange our thinking and see where puzzle pieces interlock.

Improved Gingerbread Cookies – Hold the Molasses — CutterLight

Reblogging this from Cutterlight:

The look and smell of December – warm, spicy gingerbread cookies straight from the oven, or let them cool and frost them for a more traditional treat. ‘Tis the season for hot toddies and gingerbread cookies. Out in the Alaskan bush, we have to plan ahead for any special ingredients. Ginger, yes. Cloves, yes. Molasses? […]
