No Joy in Soy…

You might recall the post with dogtor J and his recommendations for foods low in glutamates, and the big four to stay away from:  gluten, soy, dairy, and corn.

This blog goes a little deeper with soy and how harmful it is.  I knew about the issues with thyroid, but not with glutamates.  And soy lecithin is…a manufacturing byproduct that is…sludge.  Yuck.

And when I was a vegetarian, I ate a lot of soy, too, believing the hype that it would help prevent breast cancer and it was good for you.  I still miss those tofu fries, though. 🙂
