Another weedie to eatie… **edited

(…silly, I know, but it made me smile)

Anyhoo, I have found yet another “weed” to eat — wild violets.  This is particularly important to me because if the properties of the plants help diminish breast lumps, whether they be benign or cancerous, I’m so there.  I still have the two breast lumps I discovered three years ago.  They started to grow recently, and I was a little worried, but now are starting to shrink again.  I’m still leaning towards them being benign, because if they were cancerous, I think they would have grown more by now.

And have you noticed that every single one of these “weeds” contain either Vitamin A, Vitamin C, or both?  Does that not tell you something about how wonderful nature is and how we are being taken care of, if we’d only open our minds and our eyes?? Nature has provided the cures to our ailments.  Not Big Pharma.  Not anything made by humankind.

It still boggles my mind that we shoot up people with horrible chemicals to stop the spread of cancer.  And then spray cancer-causing chemicals to try to kill off the very plants that can likely cure cancer!

**edited to add:  Folks, I’ve learned that wild violets are high in salicylates.  So…if you’re especially sensitive, as heavy metal toxic folks are, you might want to limit the amount to ingest.  I tried them — just 4 or 5 leaves/flowers mid-morning, and then another 4 or 5 in early afternoon…and boy, is it potent!

It does a great job cleaning the lymph system, so it is especially good for the Spring, when we need to detox the winter “sludge” from our system.

Grist helps Louis C.K. skewer Baby Boomers

Louis C.K. admits his generation ruined EVERYTHING.

First, they said in the comments that Louis C.K. ISN’T EVEN A BOOMER, but a millenial.

Secondly, the destruction of the environment did not start with the Boomers.  It started with the WWII generation.  They began using the diluted  poisonous war surplus chemicals as herbicides, pesticides, and chemical fertilizers.

Rachel Carson started the environmental movement, but it was the Boomers who took the ball and ran with it.  You would not have the regulations in place if it were not for the Boomers.  You would not have Earth Day if it were not for the Boomers.  My own awareness came from older Boomers explaining about the environment and what we were doing to it.  Yes, it would take many, many years later for that seed to bloom, but there it is.

To drop this load at the Boomers feet is a gross misrepresentation of my generation.  I’m sick of the Boomers being characterized as the “me” generation, when we fought against the Vietnam War, for women’s rights, and for civil rights.

The hippies, especially, are degraded as being losers.  They simply “got it” before the rest of us did.  No, I’m not saying they’re the answer to it all…because nobody has all the answers.  But together, we have the answers.  It’s been my thought for some time that the Creator has played a neat trick on us…that we each have a piece of the puzzle, and it’s up to us to work together to figure out how to deal with problems and issues as they come up.  The problem is when a few powerful foist their opinions on the rest without consideration nor concern.

Not one generation can nor should take the blame for what is happening.  I could point to the Gen Xers and all the younger ones and say that the electronic devices that they love contain cadmium/heavy metals/plastics and THAT is horrible for the environment when they discard this years’ version for the newest.  But that is just a piece of the environmental pie and we are all responsible for the planet.

Another health professional against forced vaccinations

Here is another physician speaking out against forced vaccinations.  Funny how none of them make it on the nightly news….unless, of course, it is to pillory them.

Note how the other legislator is trying to corner her into making some sort of concession…saying “we’ll work with you” on it.  She is trying to get some limitation on the public’s right to refuse vaccination, and bless Senator Donna Campbell’s heart — she does not back down and does not want to talk about forcing people to have to have a reason for being a conscientious objector.

All the research money can buy…

(I am sorry if some of you are tired of this topic.  It’s on my radar right now and I’m going with it.  This is too serious.Those that make a profit off of them are powerful and wealthy enough to persuade people to do something that is against their own best interest.)

…the “study” on the link between the MMR and autism is the best “research” money can buy.

From Dachel Media Report:

~~~~~~~~
Gupta: “So did Hannah have some sort of predisposition and then the vaccines tipped her over the edge into developing autism?  What is your belief now?”
Poling: I don’t believe that vaccines are the only way that you can tip over a child like Hannah to regress and have an encephalopathy, and regress into autism.  There are probably multiple triggers.  In my daughter, it was clearly the vaccinations. That was our experience.  In other families’ experiences, it may be different.  The other cases that were at Johns Hopkins, there were only a few like Hannah and then others regressed for other reasons. It’s not really a known entity.”
This is a neurologist speaking –someone who studies the brain and all the mechanisms affecting it.  He knows his stuff — and he is saying the vaccines caused his daughter’s autism.
Next, we have a comment from the page:
Independent Study Finding No MMR Autism Link Not So Independent
activistpost.com/2015/04/independent-study-finding-no-mmr-autism.html
By Brandon Turbeville and Heather Callaghan
For those who may be critical of the process of vaccination, particularly its safety and effectiveness, it is a known fact that there has never been a study proving safety or effectiveness that was not linked to a pharmaceutical firm or vaccine maker.[1] Indeed, if vaccines were so easy to prove safe and effective, then certainly an entirely government-funded or independent agency would have done so by now.
With the recent mainstream media hype, however, one would be tempted to believe that such an independent study has finally taken place proving that the MMR vaccine is not linked to autism. However, brief research into the allegedly independent “review panel” of the new darling of the month “MMR is not related to autism study” reveals that this is not the case.
For instance, the organization that conducted the study is the Lewin Group, a corporate healthcare consulting firm based in Falls Church, Virginia. The Lewin Group works with a wide range of players in the medical establishment. Most notably major pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and Novo Nordisk among others…
Pitocin-induced contractions will be longer, more forceful and much closer together than a woman’s natural contractions. This can cause significant stress to the baby, because there’s not enough time to recover from the reduced blood flow that happens when the placenta is compressed with each contraction. The net effect of this is to deprive the baby of necessary supplies of blood and oxygen, which can in turn lead to abnormal fetal heart rate patterns and fetal distress.
In fact, birth activist Doris Haire describes the effects of synthetic oxytocin on the baby as follows:
The situation is analogous to holding an infant under the surface of the water, allowing the infant to come to the surface to gasp for air, but not to breathe.
The U.S. Pitocin package insert is painfully clear about the risks of the drug, warning that it can cause:
  • fetal heart abnormalities (slow heart beat, PVCs and arrhythmias)
  • low APGAR scores
  • neonatal jaundice
  • neonatal retinal hemorrhage
  • permanent central nervous system or brain damage
  • fetal death
A Swedish study showed a nearly 3 times greater risk of asphyxia (oxygen deprivation) for babies born after augmentation with Pitocin. And a study in Nepal showed that induced babies were 5 times more likely to have signs of brain damage at birth.
What’s mine is mine. What’s Yours is Mine….
WIRED has a really disturbing piece up on delusional corporations, like John Deere, that claim that even though you purchased a product from them…you don’t own it.
I really think corporate America has lost its mind.  No, not lost its mind, but through the lens of greed, have decided that you should pay over and over and over for their precious products.
Note the exodus from computer-driven machinery.  How are people supposed to make any profit at all on what their blood, sweat, and tears has created?  Where can they go when there are few manufacturers to choose from?  Thanks to the greed of Wall Street corporate raiders, such as Michael Milken, and a U.S. Attorney’s office slacking off on the Sherman Law of antitrust — there are fewer and fewer choices for folks.
The implications of this is creation of a Slave State, much like we had before the unionization of the U.S., when there were towns paid for by corporations, like Pullman.
It’s already been happening to chicken farmers, whom have become owned by corporations such as Perdue.
So….support your local organic farmer that is struggling against corporate farms, corporate machinery bullies, and doing it without the subsidies that corporate farms get….you know, all that welfare they disdain in public, while having their hands open behind their backs….
Vermont has identical political shenanigans as California…how is that so?
Well, we see that Big Pharma is organized...right down to keeping the public from airing their views during the process of making laws that govern them and their children.
They did the exact same thing as the politicians in California did —  when they saw that their arguments did not hold water, they stopped the bill from being discarded (as it should) and instead kept it alive by making another meeting in which the public will not be allowed to testify.
The barrier to anyone not having a PhD or MD behind their name is absolutely outrageous.
….so that means that none of the lawmakers can speak, either, eh? /snark
Authoritarianism, anyone…?
