Moose shot and killed in northeast Calgary

Once again, animals are made to pay for just living their lives…and inconveniencing humans.

CALGARY – A moose roaming through the northeast community of Marlborough was shot and killed. on Friday

Alberta Fish and Wildlife officers first found the animal wandering around Forest Lawn around 6 a.m.

It later crossed Memorial Drive, before entering the Marlborough Mall parking lot around 8 a.m.

Wildlife officers tried to use tranquilizers to subdue it, but it eventually had to be shot in as it was considered dangerous to the public.

Reports suggest another moose may still be in the area.
