Mary Beth Schneider of the Indy Star has this report up.
As governor, Daniels knows full well that one cannot conduct personal business or anything other than state business during business hours. This is grilled into state employees. You can.not.use.state.time.for.personal.business. He is still governor until he leaves office, and cannot use the time the state is paying him for his job with the university.
There were more protests against Daniels as university president: http://www.purdueexponent.org/campus/article_c698ff47-7d31-5c72-931c-9c55dcb30906.html\

I love that they are tying this in with the entire attack on education, which is what this is.
